Giving

Giving

Here at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church we believe in the practice of working our way to tithing, the giving of 10% of your first fruits to God. We believe that this comes in many ways and define it into the following areas:

  • Prayers
  • Presence
  • Financial Gifts
  • Witness
  • Service

Giving to God above and beyond in all of these areas is something we strive for here at Good Shepherd. There is no obligation to provide any financial gifts to the church. To learn more about these areas of giving, please listen to our sermon series, The Generous Life.

If you feel called to donate financially to Good Shepherd can accept cash, check, ACH, or credit cards. You can give online using the link below or in person at our church office or during the offering time on Sundays.

Giving Cheerfully

Giving cheerfully is part of our worship. Your generosity allows us to help more people experience the life-changing impact of belief.

We are part of something big, an amazing adventure to step out in faith and offer the hope and healing of Christ. We believe in transformation of the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Whether it is in our own backyard or the other side of the planet.
