Abundant peace belongs to those who love your instruction; nothing makes them stumble.
Peace of our souls is a wonderful thing, brought to us by Jesus the Christ the Savior of our souls. Of course people being people we sometimes do stumble away from that peace. The peace doesn’t leave us, we leave it. But we can get it back. While in prison Paul tells us how “I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:11–13) It is no secret what to do to find peace. We must turn back to Him and trust Him to lead us through the good and the bad times in our lives. We must stop trying to fix everything ourselves. We must stop looking for peace in material things. We must stop having to have our own way. We have to hand it all over to God and let Him carry our burdens. We must relinquish ourselves wholly and completely to Him. That is where peace is; in the everlasting arms of our God.
Heavenly Father, I give my life to you, love me, teach me and lead me to do what you need me to do. Amen.
