Isaiah 9:6 NIV

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Christ is the Prince of Peace. You cannot have peace and fear simultaneously. We have to chose one or the other. Life and spirituality are after all, a series of choices. We chose to live well or not. We chose to follow God or to worship other things. We chose to try to improve our relationship with Him or leave Him behind. If we chose Jesus, we must also choose His peace. Not just for ourselves but for those around us. If we live the fearless life in Christ then those around us will see it too. They will either be curious about how to get it for themselves (which opens the door for them to come to Him) or our peace will radiate out and give them some peace as well. Either way, we spread the peace and love of the Savior to others and that should bring us more peace. Go out today and shine some peace on the world.

Prayer:

Sweet Savior, thank you for bringing peace into my life and help me to show everyone I meet how wonderful it is to have the peace that passes all understanding. Amen.
