Our Service
When is your Service Time?
We have one worship service each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
What is the Worship Service Like?
Our 9:30 service brings together the richness of our Methodist tradition with a welcoming, approachable style. You’ll experience meaningful worship that includes hymns, modern music, prayer, and Scripture, led by our pastoral staff and musicians.
The service is designed to feel both grounded and accessible—honoring the past while engaging the present. Communion is served regularly as part of our shared life of faith.
Who Can Take Communion?
You do not need to be a member of Good Shepherd, the United Methodist Church, or even baptized in order to partake in Communion. All are welcome at our table who are seeking a relationship with Christ. We use non-alcoholic grape juice and gluten-free options are available.
Joining Good Shepherd
If you decide to Join Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, please let the pastor know your intentions ahead of time so that he can help you with that process, but this is not required. At the end of each service, an invitation is always made, and you and your family are welcome to come down at that time to become members of the church.
Baptisms
The United Methodist Church recognizes Baptisms from many other Christian denominations and does not require you to be re-baptized as part of your membership. If you have not been baptized into the body of Christ, we would be honored to explore that with you before you join. At Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, we offer all three methods of baptism (sprinkling, pouring & immersion) recognized by our denomination. Our official doctrine statements on baptism as a United Methodist Church.
If you would like more information on being baptized, please reach out to Lead Pastor Regina Hall or fill out the form below:
