What Have You Prayed For Today?
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. - Philippians 1:9-11
We all tend to pray for something in our lives. Healing, strength, and countless other things, but what about love? It’s a strange thought to pray for someone else’s love to grow more, but think of what it means to grow your love, to open your heart in order to give more. Sometimes we forget how difficult it is to open our hearts to others, to be vulnerable, but Philippians gives us a prayer for those in our life who might need Christ to help them open their hearts.
