Leviticus 19:33-34 NIV”‘
When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.
Kindness isn’t just a New Testament concept; even as far back as Leviticus the Lord is encouraging us to kindness. From the beginning He has wanted us to be kind and compassionate; to show the world that He is love. Because He knows that every time we show love and kindness they see Him. If we reach out in kindness and love people will being to wonder why and then they may eventually ask us giving us an opportunity to witness to His Wonder and Love. He didn’t ask us to be merciful and helpful for no reason it is part of His master plan for every single person in the world to come to know Him and He needs all of His children on deck to help. If you and I aren’t willing to do it then how will it get done? All He asks is that we are kind..can it be that hard?
Prayer:
Blessed Jesus, let me show the kindness that you showed for us all so that you can be glorified to all people, Amen.
