2 Corinthians 3:3 CEV
You are like a letter written by Christ and delivered by us. But you are not written with pen and ink or on tablets made of stone. You are written in our hearts by the Spirit of the living God.
We are letters (messages) of the love of God. What do your letters say? Seriously stop for a moment and just think about that past few days and consider what your letters might say. Perhaps one says ‘helped an older lady at the store find what she needed’ or ‘went and get groceries for a sick friend’ or ‘prayed unceasingly for some who desperately needed it.’ Think about what they say and then look back and see if there are any blank pages where we did nothing. If we are the love letters of Christ then we need to stay vigilant and make sure those love pages are getting filled. We need to be sure that they overflow with stories of love and compassion to the point where God has to send more blank pages. Let’s go out this week and be the best love letter we can be in the name of our Sweet and Blessed Savior.
