And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Are you making time to listen to the Lord and be available for Him to use?
We easily get caught in the distractions of this world, not making time to stop and listen to our Lord. When we do hear His voice we sometimes neglect to be obedient to His calling due to fear, not enough time, work or family. Isaiah not only was listening for the Lord, but heard His voice and immediately made himself available for God to use. Imagine the impact our church could have if we all were immediately obedient to the things God was calling us to. Make time today to listen intently for His voice. Step out in faith when He calls.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to make time to stop and listen for You today. Let me hear Your voice and be available for You to use me to further Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
