One Hour of Time
1 hour. 60 minutes. 3,600 seconds. No matter how you define an hour of time, it can be one of the most valuable and impactful hours each day if you spend it right. But the real question is where do you spend that hour?
Some of us spend it in our phones playing Candy Crush or scrolling Facebook, for others it’s binge watching the latest tv show on Netflix. What if instead of spending an hour doing those things you spent it disconnected from your screens and broke the chain to your device?
Reflection
The key is in not spending time, but in investing it.
Stephen R. Covey
Look at spending 1 less hour a day in front of a screen, find a way to as Stephen Covey puts it “invest” that hour. Spend it with your family in quality time, with your spouse for some alone time, reading a book, having a conversation with a friend, or doing a bible study. That investment will pay dividends as you continue to find new ways to disconnect from your screens.
