Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. - Psalms 126:5
Often we associate tears with sorrow and sadness. When we’re in these times of sorrow, it can be hard to find the light at the end of the tunnel and we can also hold in our emotions.
Today’s verse from Psalms teaches us that we need to let go of our tears during these trying times because they do make it easier for us to move on to the more joyful times in our lives. Opening up with a family member, friend, therapist, or other confidant can lead us to relenting those tears of sorrow, so we can find the songs of joy to follow.
