The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. - Habakkuk 3:19
Have you ever woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Had one of those mornings where it seems nothing is going right? I know that I’ve had my fair share of those days, seeking anything to remedy my situation. An extra cup of coffee, that energy bar, or just taking a break to just go for a walk. Most of the time I know that it’s not really what I’m needing.
Sometimes we can truly forget where we find our true strength. We seek alternatives or even quick fixes rather than looking towards our unlimited source of strength, our Sovereign Lord. When we invest time and energy into our relationship with God we can tap the untold potential of His strength and achieve feats that we didn’t think was possible, or simply just shift our perspective.
