Proverbs 3:5 KJV

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

We need to develop a faith that trusts that God, not ourselves, will see to our needs. We need to take what we are given and use it for Him. We need to stop thinking only of ourselves and think of, not just God, but others as well. People are by nature somewhat selfish and we need to be aware of that. We need to take the time to ask ourselves “Am I doing all I could do or only looking after just me?” We need to stop the excuses, the I wants, the I am to busy, the I don’t have enough to share, etc. and start trusting God to lead us to do what should be done. We need to pray and listen for answers about God’s will. We need to work at becoming more like Jesus. He will help us, yes, He will. But we must look for His guidance and try to do what should be done.

Prayer:

Lord, help me build my faith so that I trust you in good times and bad. Lead me to take the gifts you give me and use them to help others, so that they can see your love through me. Amen
