Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
If we can do those 2 things, we are on solid ground and again, it comes back to love. Love the Lord, love yourself, love your neighbor. The bible is a love story from Genesis through Revelations. In Love, God creates earth and mankind. In love He had Noah build an ark. In love he founded the tribe of Israel. In love He brought them out of Egypt. Over and over again, though they fail, he saves them. Then, when they seem to be forever going to sin against Him, out of love He sends Christ to save us all. In the end of times, out of love, He is coming back for us. God is Love, and Love is the answer.
Lord God Almighty, I am not worthy of your love and yet you love me. Thank you, Lord, with all my heart. Help me to love others as you love me. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.
