But you will receive power with the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Acts 1:8
How can we be the most effective witnesses to the people around us in our city and to the world?
We know from His Word that He wants us to be guided by His Holy Spirit in our own personal lives, as well as in our church’s outreach to our community. As we seek wisdom, power and strength from Him in all that we do, we will be able to be His witnesses, both personally and corporately.
Lord Jesus, thank you that You desire a relationship with us. Help us remember to seek You out and not get caught up in the busyness of the day. Help us to be open and responsive to the opportunities You give us to witness of Your love to everyone around us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
