David also said to Solomon, his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.
1 Chronicles 28:20
What is the greatest legacy a parent can pass along to their children? What do we as a church have to pass down to those who will follow us?
The ancient temple was sacred and a foreshadowing of Christ. We can be sure God, who led and guided those before us, will in like manner never leave or forsake us as we endeavor to do His will and complete the work He has purposed to be completed through us or by us. When our focus is on God and we are one with Christ, the good work will be completed.
