He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God.
What if all Christians did everything, every day, just for God? How would the world change? How would our lives change? Do you think it would make a difference? Well, we cannot make all those others do all that, but we can start doing more ourselves; maybe not everything all day long, but we can start with small steps. Starting to apply God’s will to the things we do, both in business and in our down times. Our body is his temple, are we caring for it? Our words touch others, are we speaking with God’s kindness? Are we treating co-workers kindly? Are we helping those we see in need? Are we talking to God often? What if we did? We need to start trying to add more God to our lives; in whatever way we can.
Oh Lord my God, be with me in every minute of every day and lead me to show your love to the world through all my actions. Amen.
