Living with Dementia Workshop

Do you have questions about dementia?
Do you know someone who is living with dementia?

If you answered yes to either of these questions and are looking for answers, this workshop is for you. Focused on providing answers for those who are suffering from, providing care, or potentially going to end up dealing with providing for someone or dealing with dementia themselves.

This 3 hour workshop is being offered by Kim Grubb, a RN and Behavioral Health Manager at Signature Healthcare. Her background focuses specifically on treatment of patients with dementia.

• Every 65 seconds in the U.S. a person is diagnosed with a type of dementia.
• An Estimated 1 in 5 of us know someone living with dementia.
• Alzheimer’s disease is now the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S.
• Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia.
• Dementia effects more than just an individuals memory, but the whole brain.
