They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works—and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.
Psalm 145:5-9
God is Good! He has done so many amazing things that we all should be shouting about them from the rooftops. We also should look to meditate about what God has done in our lives, reflecting on what has been done to fully grasp the entirety of the joys we should celebrate.
Often enough we struggle to be able to think of the things God has done for us in his Love to call out and celebrate, even in a close group of friends. Why do you think that is?
I truly feel that it’s because we need to fully grasp and think about what has been done to truly give the proper thanksgiving and celebration for what has been done.
Take 5 minutes each day for the rest of this Lenten season to write down one good thing God has brought into your life. Reread them on Easter Sunday and say a prayer of thanks for the awesome works God has brought into your life.
