The Advent Conspiracy

This we start our Advent Conspiracy. Advent Conspiracy was founded on the radical idea that we can celebrate Christmas humbly, beautifully, and generously. Advent is the story of a wondrous moment when God entered our world to make things right. It is the greatest story ever told and it changes everything—including the way we celebrate Christmas.
Be a part of a different story this Christmas, one that celebrates our King and bring hope to a watching world. I want you to conspire with me to turn Christmas upside down this year and do this season differently. How that might look for your life is up to you. But we’re going to give you some ideas in the next 4 weeks.
We will conspire together to Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, Love All.
Series is based off of the book written by Rick McKinley, Chris Seay, and Greg Holder, titled “Advent Conspiracy: Making Christmas Meaningful (Again)”.
Advent Conspiracy: Christmas Can STILL Change The World
Along with the timeless story of the birth of Christ from Luke and a message asking Can Christmas Still Change the World? The music on piano and special music will be favorite carols along with the singing of O Holy Night, and closing with the timeless tradition of communion and Silent Night by candlelight.
Advent Conspiracy: Love All
We have come to the end of our Advent Conspiracy. Our first week we conspired to Worship Fully. Then we focused on Spend Less. And last week it was Give More. And now we finish with Love All.At Christmas, one of the things that should distinguish a Christ-follower is a love that reaches out to the marginalized and forgotten. Such giving is an act of true worship. For Jesus this is personal. Read the Christmas story and remember that the…
Advent Conspiracy: Give More
Our first week in Advent Conspiracy we conspired to Worship Fully. Last week we focused on Spend Less. This week goes hand in hand with last week Give More. God is calling us to give more intentionally and relationally. That means giving more of our time, our energy, our memories, our talents, our presence. It’s a both/and. Spend less money and give more of yourself to the ones you love. We have to ask the question: Is how we are…
Advent Conspiracy: Spend Less
Last week we learned to Worship Fully. This week we will Spend Less. What was the one gift you remember getting for Christmas last year? Next question: What about the fourth gift? Do you remember that one? Truth is many of us don’t because it wasn’t something we necessarily wanted or needed. Spending Less isn’t a call to stop giving gifts; it’s a call to stop spending money on gifts we won’t remember in less than a year. America spends…
Advent Conspiracy: Worship Fully
First, we will Worship Fully. Nearly every character in the Christmas story that encountered our King responded in the same way: worship. Let’s make the conscious effort to reorient our hearts toward Christ. Christmas began with worship, may it end with worship. Join us for Advent Conspiracy: Worship Fully.
