Shelley Mcburney is a retired Protocol NCO from the US Army serving from 1976 to 1996 for over 20 years. Following her retirement, she started working as a DOT Compliance Administrative Manager with Reliant Building Products before her position as the Director of DOT Safety and Compliance at Atrium Corporation. Shelley retired from Atrium in 2013 and started a role as the Administrative Assistant at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

After almost 4 years Shelley moved on from the role at Good Shepherd to focus on her continued walk with Christ while remaining extremely active at GSUMC. She serves/has served with the youth, children, GROW ministries, and as a lay leader of the church.
