O Lord, our Heavenly Father, as we think upon your Son’s baptism we recall the vows made on our behalf or that we ourselves made at the time of our baptism. We confess that contrary to those promises we have not always resisted evil, injustice, and oppression; nor have we put our whole trust in your grace. Forgive us, we pray, and strengthen our resolve to serve you as our Lord, all our days. Amen.

• Ken McMurtry, Jim Lee the Father of a Friend of is having open heart surgery in Orlando FL.
• Harriet Griffith. Jeff and Janet Byers. Jeff is in the hospital with multiple complications and it isn’t looking good.

• Vikki Morris' Nephew Lucas is having complications from his surgery. Son-in-law, David, treatment for cancer.
• Francis Outlaw's Son-in-law, Donnie Sexton (wife is Theresa) seriously ill at Vanderbilt Medical Center, cause is currently unknown.

• Wayne and Linda Carpenter loss of Wayne's brother Don
• Stefanie Morsey's mother-in-law JoAann, fell and shattered Kneecap
• Bette Seaton's friend's son, Ronald Becker, has COVID-19
• Katie Bradford's Grandmother, Joan Anderson, passed due to COVID-19 after decades of struggles with dementia.

• Cindy, Donna Stepp's friend, losing her business from COVID restrictions, has three children she supports.
• Ongoing prayers for Bette Seaton's niece Royce and brother Donald Bartels.
• Mary Peterson's brother, John Brown, has MS and currently in hospital with double pneumonia, not COVID related.
